Helping Kids Play Sport

 

 

 

 

A new initiative by Dept of Sport & Rec to assist families who are in receipt of a Pension Concession Card or Health Care Card with their childs registration fees.

The Department of Sport and Recreation has launched an initiative to assist families who may be struggling financially and are unable to enrol their child(ren) in sport. 

The inititive will provide eligible children with up to $200.00 in membership fee's subsidy. 

Children must be between 5 and 18 years of age and have a parent with a current Health Care Card of Pension Concession Card that is validated by a referral agency (school teacher, doctor, social worker etc).
