The Marcellin Old Collegians Football Club will use a three week block leading up to Christmas for a short, sharp training program designed for players and the coaching staff to get to know each other and to set the scene in terms of training standards and what to expect in 2015.

What to bring to training:
- It is a requirement that players wear something "Marcellin" to ALL training sessions. All new players will be provided with training singlets at their first training session.
- Please wear runners to all training sessions unless advised otherwise. Pack your boots in a bag along with a towel in case of wet conditions.
Preparing for training:
- All players need to ensure that they eat healthy on the day of training and drink plenty of water to ensure that they are hydrated and can perform at their best. It is important we train how we play.
- Please arrive to training as early as possible and be ready on the Gartner Fields for when training officially commences.
- Players that arrive late must do their own warm up and stretching and are NOT to join the main group until they have fully warmed up.
- Players that arrive late will do extra work at the end of training to make up for what they have missed out on. This is to ensure that players do not fall behind in fitness and skill development from the main group.
Post training:
- After each training session, please make sure you re-hydrate and eat well.
- Ensure you stretch the day after and go for a walk and/or swim to minimise soreness.
